Yongzhou city is located in the south
of Hunan province
and at the northern foot of the Nanling Mountains. It
is the only city bounded either by Guangdong or by Guangxi
provinces in China, having jurisdiction over two districts
of zhishan and Lenshuitan, nine counties of Qiyany, Dongan,
Snuangpai,Daoxian, Jiangyong, Jianghua, Ningyuan, Xintian
and Lanshan. It covers an area of 22,400 square kilometres
with a population of 5.56 millions, as main compact community
of the Yaos and the birthplace of Yao culature . Yongzhou
has the best tempreture conditions in the province with
annual mean temperature of 16℃, yearly frostfree period
about 290-311 days and yearly precipitation about 1200-2000mm.
In recent years, the municipal committee of the Party
and the municipal gorevnment set up the general ideology
to build ecological, environment protection and high efficiency
pattern of economy by pushing forward industrialization,
agricultural industrialization and urbanization. In order
to speed up the development, Yongzhou chooses openning
to the world as the first economic strategy, making the
city thriving by openning and making the people well-off
